Mathias Ekornås (29) from Sunnmøre has previously climbed mountains in Nepal and was the first to paddle the entire Pacura River in Costa Rica in a packcraft. He’s also spent eight weeks in a village in southern India.
After several years as a professional army officer, he decided to store away his uniform and hire a flat in Oslo so he could go on nature expeditions.
